Just as Whitney Houston's singing career was birthed, it will end same way it started, in New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. This solemn occasion will be eulogized by a fellow singer and preacher that Houston admired.
Gospel singer Marvin Winans, brother of celebrated duo BeBe and CeCe will help orchestrate Houston's funeral in her home town Saturday.
Winans, who also officiated Houston's 1992 wedding to Bobby Brown was requested by the late star's mother, Cissy Houston.

The minister and singer who dueted with Houston on the song "Count On Me," will be a part of what New Hope's pastor, Joe Carter, is hoping will be more of a celebration of life.
"She was able to leave us with so many wonderful memories of that God-given gift," Pastor Joe Carter told CNN. "That's what we are celebrating on Saturday."
Carter is expecting the 1,500 seat church to be filled with people for Saturday's invitation only service.
